Artistry, dope event space, great energy and innovation all in one space. I love how there are a number of artists working under the same roof as a unit. All with varying styles, but all contributing to this unique gem in Tucson. Dia has cultivated a dope space with highlighting the art and showcasing the artists well. Its communal and homey. Worth checking out if you're looking to get some great work done by good people!

Truly a home away from home for me now. The entire space is female forward: from the women who work here and run it, to a warm and welcoming space, I wouldn’t change one thing. Except maybe that it isn’t so far from where I live, in Chicago. Dia brought my tattoo to life honoring my breastfeeding journey and I could not be more pleased!

I have worked exclusively with Dia for the past 10 years, simply won’t work with anyone else! She’s an incredible artistic talent, a consummate professional, and just a really nice person, all in one package. Dia has done several grayscale pieces on my arm and we’ve been very slowly working on a color piece on my thigh (a Dutch botanical still life that only continues to get more exquisite). I HIGHLY recommend working with her, and what an expansive, pleasant studio space to do it in!

What an amazing space. In addition to being an incredibly talented tattoo artist, Dia has curated a wonderful, high-quality selection of wares and original art. It’s refreshing to walk into a tattoo shop that’s loaded with plants and natural light. I also love the playlists - name another tattoo shop playing Everything but the Girl. Highly recommend booking a session here, and grabbing a candle and an art print, too.

The space is clean, well decorated, and fun to be in! They’ve got snacks and a gender neutral bathroom, and everyone there was so nice. I was tattooed by Alondra and her work is so beautiful. She took the time to research the design I was interested in and make sure it was true to its origin.

I traveled from Boston to work with Dia on a piece that took a couple of days, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Her artistry is truly exceptional, but what stood out just as much was the atmosphere at La Querida. Every detail of the space reflects incredible care and thoughtfulness, creating a warm and comfortable environment. Dia has set an incredibly high standard. I also loved connecting with the other artists—it’s clear that this is a truly special place.

My bf and I went for their flash day, and had a delightful experience. The studio is gorgeous and has such a comfortable setting to relax in. We both got tattooed by Maggie and she did an incredible job, very creative and gentle, definitely looking forward to booking more appointments with the wonderful artists at this studio!

Viv did my tattoo for a flash sheet event and she was one of the nicest tattoo artists I have ever worked with. Every artist was also extremely kind and welcoming and I will definitely be coming back for a normal piece!!

My artist was Alondra, but first off the place was way different than the normal tattoo joint. It’s a beautiful building and all the tattoo artists have their own private area to work. The building is way more lit because of skylight’s and is a very welcoming atmosphere. My artist was extremely professional, clean, timely and met or exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their 1st tattoo or their 100th tattoo.

I have spent many hours getting tattooed by Dia, and I feel truly honored to carry her art on my skin. Sessions are comfortable, considerate, and professional, and I always leave her chair feeling inspired. Dia was great to work with for my first tattoo! First of all, her artwork is incredible and she has incredible skill with translating it to skin. I played the waiting game to get a slot and it was absolutely worth waiting for. Everything felt appropriately professional from the scheduling to the tattooing itself, and I felt completely comfortable throughout. I was tattooed at Haunted Hands (Dia's previous location) in 2022 & 2023 and I'm excited to come see La Querida when I get back on Dia's books! (the pic is from a terrible angle; it's of the additional work in 2023 as an extension of the work from 2022)

I had been waiting years to find someone to bring my idea for this 'saguaro bouquet' to life, and when I happened upon Dia's work I was blown away. She and her space are so welcoming, and her skill and detail are second to none. We've moved from Tucson, but if inspiration ever strikes again I'd happily make regular flights back to have her work on another piece.

La Querida is a spacial space. Dia has created such a welcoming and incredible atmosphere. You can immediately tell that La Querida is a place for community and a space that accommodates everyone. Floral tattoos are my thing so I am looking forward to starting another tattoo project soon.
